I think their goal is to get rehab patients up and about-- and I think it works well. The therapy group is attentive and are considerate to do things like provide a schedule for the next day, so the patient knows what to expect. The staff (nurses/aides) are also attentive and communicate well with the patient and family. The aides and evening nurse on the floor had been working there for a while, so you get the feeling that they want to be there, and they have knowledge of the place.

They do seem to have staffing issues, more so the second time I was there than the first. First time wasn't as bad, food is really good, homemade and exceptional for a health facility! I don't know if they still offer the option that your spouse can come have dinner with you for 5bucks or not, but that was a great feature. Most uncomfortable mattresses I've ever slept on, just horrible for someone who just had surgery. This facility has BED BUGS and an infestation that they could care less about, staff is overworked and underpaid. The good staff the mistreat but the ones that neglect residents and are banded from floors get treated like royalty.
The food is very good, and there's a good variety on the menu. I would put my mother without hesitation in Vincentian Home. I like the Christian affiliation that it's run by the sisters of charity; that’s a big thing with me. The rooms were nice, the care was good, and the location from where I live and where my mother would be was good.
